Does anyone have one of these - includes 20 hr re-chargeable battery only £79 in PC World.

Junior's 128 Mb player is too small on memory so thinking of giving him my 1 Gb Logica one.

Any comments on the Rio MP3 player ?

Dont have that Rio (got a Forge) but they do update Firmwares on a regular basis, always good in an MP3 player manufacterer.

Check this good Rio Forum (for all makes) and have a look at the general consensus regarding your choice.

I have a rio karma, which I've been very pleased with, but have read under heavy use it can be a bit fragile. No problems for me though, very easy to use and navigate through menu's and good sound quality.

wherever the money is
I have heard that Rio's are pretty godd beachy. I have jost got my Iriver PMP-120 which is a quality bit of kit but then again with a retail of £399 I should hope it was:cool:

Reason Rio's are cheap at the moment is that the company doesn't exist anymore. D&M (Denon & Marantz Holdings) didn't want to keep pouring money down the drain, the Rio line has never made a cent.

Its a pity, Diamond (first company to own the Rio brand) really took it in the face over copyright, and eventually won. mp3 players would have immense tax levys on them in the US, and hence the rest of the world would have copied, had they not done that.
