Well if you look at the 28,790 thread and the comments of the lack of atmosphere etc, and now the whinging and stupid poll on this thread.
Lets face it our home support, although being the biggest is vocally crap.
Whining about this chant and that chant, slating the away support for being crap, it is embarrassing .
No wonder the away sides and supporters see us as easy pickings.
Just sing and make some noise, get behind the team instead of dissecting every chant or song, it is pitiful.......and makes US tinpot.
People do love to moan about EVERYTHING nowadays don't they. Christ almighty
Just commented on another thread.
It is unbelievably rubbish and just indicates exactly how out of touch and bad at their jobs the people responsible are.
.
For goodness sake, how can it be tin pot? The club are trying to raise the atmosphere. If Ring of Fire is no good, what then? And on another note, why no words on the screen this time? Once again, a lot of der, der, der ...... followed by Stand or .... going up ..... No one know what to sing.

Forced atmosphere is tinpot to me, as is goal music as are clackers as are any corporate driven theme days. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old ******* who liked football without being prompted into enthusiasm
I know when to get excited and shout or sing and don't need to be led, another Americanisation creeping into British sport
It seems the majority like it or don't care so the club have obviously got it right and I am out of touch.

No, not duped. They were at The Amex and buzzing with anticipation. A remarkable number would have joined in with the theme tune to The Magic Roundabout if it was the only option. For something thats so out of touch with fans a remarkable number of them seem to join in. Are they all duped ?

It IS tin pot. It will die a slow death.

The majority of people join in for a laugh in an "ironic" "I know this is shit, but what the hell..." type of attitude.

Amazes me how many people keep throwing out the wors 'tinpot' when it comes to making atmosphere. Clearly they prefer silence.
Or they are incapable of just getting involved with fan led chanting and need to be told when to get excited and when to sing along. Next we'll be needing "Cheer now" up on the big screens after we have scored
Did we have all this shit back in the Goldstone days? It all seems so forced and American to me. On Friday I'd much rather have heard the Norwich fans and the Albion fans responding. In fact the Norwich fans were so loud they could be heard above the pap coming out of the tannoys and in response we swung some scarves around.
It's all a bit X Factor to me and big dumbing down of the game

Nail on head. Sadly announcers at football work to their agenda as they are paid to do something. It would take a better than average one to know when to shut up and lets the fans sing withoutthe tannoy blastting people out and drowning out the fans. Its a curse of football these days
