I had the same sort of experience. A couple of years back I was googling me and my brother's fanzine from the seventies. Turned up loads of search results - mainly because some company had nicked the front cover and turned it into a range of posters, teeshirts and tote bags
Just tried the same search today. Some artist/designer type has once again nicked the front cover (different issue number!), tweaked it a little bit and stuck it on the front of a teeshirt that retails for £210!
Like you, don't know quite what to make of it. Quite flattering I suppose and nice to think the cover of the fanzine we inked and xeroxed and sold for 20 pence all these years ago has acquired a secondlife
