Care to explain why you think Cardiff and Ipswich will be anything other than also rans?

FWIW I, too, think we'll do no better than playoff defeat again

I was actually quite impressed with Cardiff...and they dispatched us with ease. I think they will be a force. Ipswich will be buoyed having their rivals Norwich to add some spice and having the best manager in the division( IMHO) they will be a force. I also think Wednesday and Fulham will be better sides next season.

I would take playoffs again next season.

The law of averages means we are bound to win 1 game eventually.

We will have to win more than 1 to go up through the play-offs.

Auto or more choking/ robbery will follow. I have zero confidence in us winning the playoffs.

It is a bit early but I think the three to drop will be Huddersfield, Preston and Burton.
I also think that Forest and Fulham will be somewhere around the play offs, especially if Fullham manage to hang on to RM.
Hate to say it but I think the Albion will be play off again, although I obviously hope we are in the top two.
I've a feeling Derby and Sheffield Wednesday will get raided for their a few of their players, Forestiari and Hooper will go to the highest bidders, as will the Albino at Derby.
Got a sneaky feeling Barnsley might do a Preston and be a tricky team to beat next year.
But hey, what do I know.

I think it's best to reserve judgment until we know who has gone and who has come in. That said I would put money on a top six finish for the Albion.
You would be daft to bet against Newcastle, Aston villa and Norwich being top six with Derby.
