No nice pubs near the ground, bit of a shit area to be honest. Better off finding somewhere in town or you could have a beer in the casino at the ground, pretty sure it is away friendly.

Used this on our last visit to the Ricoh and was really straight forward with no queues or problems

Wouldn't recommend this - the Tesco security is pretty tight.

I went with a mate a few years back and the driver also had a little local knowledge re. street parking. However, the estate we parked on was a tad rough so you take your chances particularly with a decent motor

If you come off at Junction 3 on the M6 you will be close to the Sutton Stop junction on the canal. Go to the Greyhound pub by the canal, good beer, good food we were able to park there, you can walk to the ground via the tow path.

Apparently they normally show the early Premiership game in there and drinks prices are fairly reasonable.
