Doesnt take away from Hatton achievements but I think this makes you realise he will never be a superstar in the boxing world: exciting pressure fighter yes; but falls way short of the hall of greats

Embarrassing. Did no-one advise Hatton that his tactic of walking into punches against Mayweather was a mistake? That was 6 minutes of rank stupidity from him and his team. Pacquiao may well be a great fighter, but a half decent one would also have done that to Hatton in 2 rounds.

Your point being?
25,000 people followed him, and he was a shower of shit, just like he was against Mayweather- walking into punches, getting caught every time he moved forward, not even defending himself etc.
Hatton was simply outclassed by a better opponent.
Career over no doubt about it.

Ernest is spot on.

That was brutal, Pac was too quick and that was worrying me before-hand Hatton is doomed:bigwave:

He was finished after the Mayweather fight, his last good fight was against Tzuyu and his lifestyle has caught up with him.

I agree and said so on here straight after the beating he took from Mayweather. The only fight left for him , which he wont take as the money wont be enough and he might get beat again is for possibly Amir Khan come up a weight. You would then have 2 no hopers aganst each other. Hatton has been good but should call it a day and rest on his past glories.

Just watched it on the replay, I'm gald I didn't stay up for that :lolol:

You could tell in the first minute that Pac had the measure of him. Hatton was just walking onto punches and it was only a matter of time before he walked onto a big shot.

That is the end of his career now, he might have a fight at home for another big payday but that's about it. A sad end to a decent career, but in all honesty he has always been a brawler and will always get found out against the very best fighters.

I resolved never to buy a Sky Box Office fight again after I forked out something like £16 for that Naseem fight that lasted about 3 seconds a few years ago. I missed the entire fight because I was having a pee when the first bell went
