He has signed for a Prem club... he was subject of interest for other Prem clubs when still on our books... what other evidence do you need?

What evidence do you have that our club made a good decision to release him?

What is it with the Albion and goalkeepers? FDM's apparently not fit to be Number One - despite having seen off about two dozen challengers for the role - and Martin and Sullivan may well reach their testimonial years without having ever had any kind of run out for the first team. Head-mental or what?

It happens all the time in football, and all over the league. Wasn't Nicky Rust banished to reserves obscurity after leaving us?

jesus we still on this, how many people have played reserve team football for premiership teams and ended up playing conference south, when he plays a few times for man city then fair enough, the end of the matter is he has been signed to play for there reserves. if schmeichel hadnt been loaned out im sure martin wouldn't of been kept on. Do people here seriously think just because "he was looked at by prem scouts" when he was 15-16 does that mean he is prem class now?

No, of course not. But a side such as City, with all their cash, would not bother signing him up for the season of they didn't feel he had something to offer.

Perhaps Sullivan is the better option but if Martin is good enough for City to dwell on I feel we missed out on a fee.
