Richard & Judywith Pink Floyd as Guests!

Now I hope I heard this wrong whilst nearly burning my tea, but I swear I heard the idiot Richard say that the band would be live on tommrows programme.

There is nothing on Teletext or the schedules. Please tell me I am wrong, and they will not be on the show.

Why not? They get high-profile guests, and who really cares which programme hosts a Pink Floyd show, as long as it happens?

Incidentally, Brighton Dome was the venue for the very first live show for 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON', and although there was a problem with some backing tapes, it was great to be there (and meet The Floyd afterwards :>)

Top band, but only likely to appear every ten years or more nowadays. I wonder if there'll ever be a 'Syd re-union' - that WOULD be interesting eh?

Syd lost it big style, lives in Oxford with his mum apparently.
I saw the Floyd on the division bell tour but don't consider it to be the 'true' Floyd without the Genius Waters present.

Come January 20 at the Brighton Dome, what was then titled Eclipse was still a work in progress. But that didn't bother Pink Floyd overmuch. In effect, for them, that was the point. They could change the songs on the hoof if they needed to and jam the betweensong segue music they planned for the album, see what fitted. As it happened, Brighton lost the retrospective honour of a world's first complete performance when the effects tape for Money snagged terminally and they had to move on to Atom Heart Mother. According full run-through ensued the following night at Portsmouth Guildhall.

Just checked the Channel 4 website - seems it's only going to be Nick Mason, who's just written a book called "Inside Out", about his experiences in the band.

Richard and Judy, well Richard are very good interviewers and highly watchable. They get some major names on their show. I am a Richard Madeley fan so lay off the bloke.
