Thanks; hadn’t heard of him. Slightly odd chap, but with flawless technique and a warm tone. I particularly liked his Bach interpretations on uke.

I have seen several of his gigs, he is a bit of an eco warrior and very in touch with nature. He spins some lovely yarns when he introduces a piece he is going to play and has some marvellous banter with tha audience and fellow players.

Thoroughly recommend seeing him for a spiritual top up.

Well there's a name I didn't ever think I'd see on NSC.

Back in the day, my guitar teacher dad taught him!

Your dad did an excellent job there.

He was in the year above me at Stringer, played in the same school orchestra.

The music teacher, Miss Cowl, was the proverbial spinster of the parish but used to get all giggly and blush in Richard's presence.

He was an outstanding guitarist even then and seems to have had a fine career with it.

As a striker my guess is he could hit a cows arse with a banjo, so it's a yes from me

Sing him up.

I'm always opening these threads expecting it's speculation about the next player we've been linked with possibly signing.

Done like a kipper once again!
