I think this season has shown us how much we have relied upon Chippy over the past few seasons. He's been our whole midfield at times and held us together as a team. This year he's had a bit of a mare and God have we suffered. Coppell must have seen the decline in him since last season when he selected Oatway ahead of him. I would like us to keep him, but maybe a spell out on loan might refresh him.

were aleady short in the middle of the park, a spell out on loan is not the answer.

All they need is a win to get things going again, confidence is the key.

Thought Carpenter was one of our better (less shit) players on Saturday. At least you always feel he's giving 100% and isn't afraid to shirk a tackle. Couldn't say that about most of the other players at the moment.

More of a case for Chippy to stay in than some of the others. What the hell is wrong with Gary "Red Mist" Hart ? or Rehman who is with a Prem. club so should easily be good enough. Ok, he is a loan player and you run the risk of them not being up for it, but he barely lasted a half under McGhee's gaze.
