My mother once knitted my ex and I a pair of "Howard and Hilda" jumpers for Christmas. Hideous creations they were. Turtle neck jumper with three stripes down the front. Mine was brown/white/brown, her's was white/brown/white. We wore them once at the same time to the pub on Boxing Day for a laugh, but they were never seen being worn at the same time ever again

Bit like I feel, and as the years roll by there seems to be more well known people passing away, such a shame Richard Briers has joined that list, I have great memorys of him in many things, genuine guy, RIP.

That film always seemed to be on TV during the 70s and I often wondered what he was doing in it.

I will remember him for his final work- the film Cockneys v Zombies. Here he 'outruns' a Zombie whilst using his zimmer frame, thus avoiding being ripped apart. Its actually quite funny.
