The name gives it away
Going in a couple of weeks, can't wait. Three nights, four days, got a car for the entire duration so doing the Blue Lagoon on the way from the Airport as get there early and then the Golden Circle. Anyone who has been recently recommend decent bars in Reykjavik and any restaurants that do relatively cheap food???

Yes a cracking place, been there twice and want to go again. However cheap food doesn't exist unless you want McDonalds. Cheapest meal I had was at a Chinese but the bottle of wine cost more than the meal,

One tip is to spend a few minutes in the airport duty free when you arrive and buy some drink as its eye watering expensive in town.

Goldern Circle and Blue Lagoon a must. Enjoy

There Abouts
Crodonilson' we went in Feb this year & stayed in the center of Reyjavik. There is bar/restaurant called the icelantic bar or something similar in the square, would def recommended, great traditional food as well as your burgers etc, although my mate did try the raindeer burger!! Lamb is also very popular, & try a pint or two of Viking!! Also as others have said its not megga pricey, there is also an Irish bar we went in to,
golden circle is amazing, have a great time mate.

The Blue Lagoon is tourist and crap
Drinks are very pricey at £38 for 2xG&Ts and 2xGuiness
Food is poor everywhere
Everyone goes out pissed and sobers up
It's always dark
..... But other than that cracking! Shithole, end of!
