Whats the snow like in the Alps then?....I am heading out to Morzine on saturday...i hear there was a bit of snow at the weekend...

Snow is good right now. It was dire a couple of weeks ago, but it absolutely dumped down last Friday and it's been snowing on and off since then - had a little more last night, so there's plenty of snow right down to resort level at 1000m. We're due a little more on Monday/Tuesday. Should take us nicely through to the end of the season.

Who are you heading out here with? Any tour operator, or just privately? You'll need to buy your own chocolate though.
