Watchin the boats go by
Owing to work commitments I have only been to three games this season, including last night but at every game i have sat/stood there and said 'Why the f*** is Revell playing right wing?'

In my opinion he's the best striker currently at this club (waiting for Jake and Joe to prove otherwise over time), yet he either starts or gets moved to right wing all the time. When he plays through the middle he actually wins a fair amount of possession and if he had someone closer to him than the first half last night we'd keep the ball up front much better!

So i ask the people of NSC to decide, where is Revells best position within our current squad?

He's not really a striker. Plays too much with his back to goal and turns too slow to be really dangerous in the centre.

Probably play him on the right but that doesn't solve the problem of not having a goal scorer in the team. - Revell and Hart up front is too samey.

Well that doesn't really make him a right winger.

Anyway there's nothing wrong with a striker playing with his back to goal ifhe's played alongside someone who will try and get in behind (or has players making runs beyond him from midfield).

Revell didn't score 35 odd goals for Braintree on the right wing. He should be in the centre.

He actually did score a few of those goals while playing wide right, not sure of the proportion.

On the occasions I've seen him playing CF, he looks less effective than when physically dominating smaller fullbacks, so I vote to stick him wide right where he has played his best football for us.

4-4-2 up front please. He is the nearest thing we have to a target man and he is playing on the wing. the mind boggles.???
