Yup, i'm sure he was pretty fired up scoring the winning goal in a game where we *needed* 3 points. I know I would be.

after watching soccer nite i was amaised to see alex revell giving the v sign to fans and telling them 2 f*** off after scoring his third goal did anyone else notice this

What a load of old bollocks, Revell raised one finger(his index finger)which cant possibly be a v sign & Im no lip reader but Im pretty much 100 per cent sure that the first word he said wasn,t f***,mind you if he reads some of the dribble posted on here who could blame him?

I'm more concerned that hardly anyone congratulated him on any of those goals.

For the second goal, a couple of players jumped on him, and the rest of the players walked back to the centre circle - heads bowed. Look at the subs on the side of the pitch after he scored the second goal - just standing there.

For the third goal, Doug Loft just pushed him in the back and walked off.

Do the players have to give each other blow jobs after a goal is scored then ?
I'm quite pleased the players don't launch themselves into a mass-orgy in the centre-circle after knocking a goal in against one of the shittest teams in the division, to boost us up to the dizzy heights of, err, 10th.

Lets save the lap of honour and open-top bus tour for when we score an IMPORTANT goal.

Just seen the video of the alleged incident. He clearly raises his index finger and shouts "f*** off". This looks like a pumped-up reaction to scoring the winning goal, nothing more. You see players doing that all the time after scoring. To try and blow it up into a Revell vs Fans/Wilkins thing is stupid even for this place.

OK - calm down. He was only asking for people's opinions. Revell looked like he had an agenda. Not unreasonable for a fan to wonder what that was and why he reacted the way he did.

It's not Albion bashing, it's not shit stirring. It's an interest in the club we all love and a reasonable question on a football forum about BHA ffs.

I'm perfectly calm mate, I think you're the one needing the chill pill.

I haven't seen them on TV, but from what I remember live, nothing seemed untoward. What are you suggesting? That the players don't care generally? that they don't like Revell?

Don't take this as a dig at you Al - it's not intended as that at all - I'm just curious as to what [if anything] you think should be read into the above?

Personally I thought he shouted 'f*** off' while looking at the fans after the third goal. Do I give a shit? No. It was IMO a massive release of emotion that could have been displayed in many ways.

Saying that, even if it was directed at some fans who can blame him after some of the shit he's received on here.

Lovely bit of passion IMO.

I distinctly saw him run over to a poor old woman holding a baby and spit on them both too.
He did, I saw that too. Then he briefly masturbated in the disabled fans section and rimmed a Gully's Girl.

Wilkins had criticised him at half time because he felt that Bournemouth were winning everything in the air and Revell was not outjumping any of their players to get his head on it.

Hence, finger salute and f*** off :)

Quite. All though I do think we're in for six pages of navel-gazing as people discuss whether players should celebrate more or less, what kind of celebrations there should be, does a certain celebration indicate there is disquiet in the camp, should the players swear at the manager/fans/each other, etc, etc etc.

I'm not suggesting anything at all, nor do I think anything should be read into it, aside from to say that I thought it was an odd reaction from the other players.

There could be a myriad of reasons, or there could be nothing at all in it - something as simple as the players couldn't be arsed with an 11-player love bundle.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned elsewhere on this board, but what struck me, when watching the goals on Seagulls World, was the lack of congratulations from most other players after Alex's three goals - particularly from Forster. It almost looked as if Alex was being ignored by his team-mates; he was virtually celebrating alone.

What on earth is going on ?

Definitely something going on between Forster and Revell. They hardly achknowleded each other after the goals and Revell ran straight by him after the first rather than go and thank him for the pass. Anyway who cares if they don't get on, as long as they score goals just look at Sherringham and Cole they didn't speak at all !!

What Wilko said. Since that's pretty much what Revell said to Hawesy when he was interviewed on SCR after the game. He wasn't at all critical of Wilkins, incidentally. Quite the opposite.

revell didnt thank forster for either assists. in my day he would have been given a slap for that

yeah i noticed that, revell did thank him in an interveiw on seagulls world and said he would get fozzie one back. but still would have been nice to see revell aknowledge him on the pitch.

Maybe they changed the action replay with actors playing their parts then, because I can CLEARLY see Revell giving Forster a high-five handslap straight after scoring - even skipping in the air to add more effect as he did it!

Watch for yourselves if you don't believe;
