I thought when Gus arrived that Cox might go to the next level, but that seemed to happen to El Abd instead.

I think Alex Revell is an OK striker at League 1 level. We bought him for a bit less than he was worth and we sold him for a lot more than he was worth, it was good business. Dean Cox initially looked to be a very exciting prospect but seemed to lose his way, I don't think he'd ever have made the grade with us, and so it made sense to release him. I was not surprised he found another club at our level, as there is still a chance he will become an excellent player.
