Amazingly straightforward today….left the ground about 2.40pm, was back in Burgess Hill before 5.

WHL - Liverpool Street - Farringdon where we got on the Brighton train.
Probably the only Albion to get off that at London Bridge.

Absolutely seamless, as you said so straightforward and rather embarrassed the half-sized AMEX.
All in the timing, but despite joining a huge (sad) queue outside White Hart Lane station we never stopped walking straight onto the train.

Walk to Seven Sisters, tube to St Pancras, 15.35 to Burgess Hill. Didn’t even queue.

Walked to Northumberland Park which is 5-10 mins from stadium , brief wait in a queue but that’s all. First class organisation and frequent trains. The Amex could learn from this.

You're right, about time they built several more stations to serve the exodus from the Amex. Better still, move it into the centre of the town!!

The number of different travel choices to and from there was ridiculous. Everyone I know seemed to have done a different combination of stations.

All good, thanks. Left ON the final whistle. Pegged it to Northumberland Park. 2.45pm to Liverpool Street. Bus 47 to London Bridge. 3.35pm to Horsham arriving 4.30pm TWO HOURS after the match finished. Slick and hard working just like our team.

....about time they had more frequent and longer trains.
