You’re right! I was quoting my son. He deferred Uni for a year and is now envious that his mates have gone back to Uni and seem to be having a much better time than him. But as per HWT’s posts, I think my son has hopefully made the right decision to defer and when he starts in September it will be a better experience.

My son got an email from Exeter Uni last week saying that students from certain courses (including his) can go back from 8th March.
As a result he was planning to go back next Monday (getting bored of his parents I think!!)
Anyway plans are currently on hold as the "controlled" explosion of the WW2 bomb that was found has smashed loads of the windows of his halls of residence and there are also reports of cracked walls/structural damage! No-one now allowed back until all the safety checks have been completed.
