Makes sense. He was raised in Cordoba as a kid and played for Cordoba football club. Probably his family is all still there.

Do we have a recall clause on him, just in case we do need him before the end of the season? It seems a shame if his number10 shirt is never used again.

There is always the possibility that if Andone hasnt burned his bridges with the press release about us that he could return and make a contribution as he has the abvility even if not the desire. Kayal ,unfortuantely, has had his day at our level and we have had the best out of him so he will never play at our level again.

Agreed. If his loan is ended this window, and there is a chance he'll be fit for the Southampton-Newcastle-Burnley run in, I'd give him the currently spare place in the 25 man squad, just in case.
