what’s time? The 3 years since I stopped working have gone inside six months, or so it seems
Indeed, retired at 59, I'm now 63, and it's flown by, but enjoyed some fabulous trips, days out, walks and chats with friends.

fat body? no not insulting you rather referring to the car?
Yes mate, has a big @rse! It was a dream as a small boy to have one, and became a life ambition, and very much a driver during the tough times of business ownership. It's a modern 992 series, and I love it.

4.5 years for me (escaped at 54), scarcely believable how fast it's gone. Wouldn't change a thing and haven't regretted it for a single second. Busy literally every day (much to Mrs D's annoyance who claims she saw more of me when I was working despite me being abroad half the time anyway  ).

I got my first full time job at 34 in Saudi with 2-3 hours a day teaching and 26 weeks paid holiday a year. I came back after 2 years and retired from employment at 36 years old. Property investment provided a simple life of leisure. Saudi was morally wrong and made me a hypocrite for life but apart from the dosh I learnt a lot about the Middle East.

My friends say you couldnt have retired at 36 because you never did any work to retire from.
