Anybody know of any decent and reasonable places to eat near the London Eye?

I mean, yeah, so it's a bit of a strain on the old back pocket, and I admit I did feel a bit uncomfortable initially. But a couple of cocktails helped me relax and soon I was really getting into it - we carried on well into the night. It was a great experience and I really loved it - so much so that I won't let my boyfriend take me anywhere else now! So if anyone ever wants to take you up the Oxo Tower, just throw caution to the wind and go for it!"

Gwylan, didn't you live near there at one time? Saying that, it's a bit of a trek. If you like Thai food, there's a great Thai restaurant called the Suchard on Tooley Street, five minutes from London Bridge. They do great one-bowl meals for less than £10.

West Hoathly Seagull said:Okay, let us know what you think if you go there. It used to be a regular lunchtime haunt of mine when I worked at the London City Mission on Tower Bridge Road, and colleagues on various occasions too. Don't go in the Shipwrights Arms with Spurs or Albion colours on; it's hardcore Millwall.
