Rather than posting a review now after some advice - anyone been to Latino Americano ( and yes I know who owns it ! ) ? Mrs W wants to take me out for my birthday and I've looked at the menu. It looks rather good but a tad over priced. Happy to pay for quality but I don't know anyone that's eaten there. The steaks in particular look Coal Shed prices and I'd rather go there if the quality isn't equal. Comments ?

I personally rate the steaks at Latinoamerica better than the Coal Shed. Do some cracking wines as well. Been there six times and yet to be disappointed.

Couldn't see it on here, anyone tried the new joint in Worthing, woods???

Its been on here somewhere.

Decent place IMO. Not a fan of the small patties and the side dishes are way to big but a decent burger.

The boys at Salsa Viva have now opened their permanent restaurant in Worthing too. Proper Mexican grub, worth checking out.

Was going to go to the New Club post match but given the delays post match settled on Burgers & Cocktails:

Starter of shared Nachos and both had burgers which were very well cooked all washed down with a Spanish red.

It is not high dine cuisine but for £55 including service charge pretty functional in my view.

We popped by to try one on Sunday morning but the poor bloke was flapping around like a lunatic just trying to get the machines working so we went for a fry up down the road instead. Really felt sorry for him.

He's a genuine trailblazer though, the Troll, and I genuinely do wish him the best. Especially now his burgers are more reasonably priced.

Any recommendations for somewhere reasonable in North Laine/The Lanes area for about £15-£20 per head (not including the drink obviously)?

Went to this last night, a food and beer pairing hosted by Brooklyn Brewery.

Think it would have been fine, but we opted for a less obvious veggie choice: The Salt Room.

A prime candidate there for the @WeWantPlates Twitter feed (one of my faves). Some other examples:

If I'm not mistaken the wood they serve that dessert on is actual reclaimed West Pier wood. If you want to believe that...
