Resigned to bottom half finish

Fickle, no. Expectant of the team maintaining its recent progress, yes.
Results are everything to me and I was looking for a top half finish. Most fans expected that and it should have been achievable.
Poyet's doing a better job than Slade and I would describe it as a ' good job ' thus far. He will be under a lot of pressure next season and some of these players who have regularly let him down this season, will be weeded out.
As far as I'm concerned, the last two results have been unacceptable. The players have performed at a level far below that of recent weeks.
That is either down to them, the manager or both of them. Either way, it ain't good enough, I'm not accepting it and I won't be happy, unless we now win the next two games.

That is quite fickle :lolol:

Basically you're saying you won't be happy unless we win every game. Lower your expectations and you won't be so unhappy, then you won't whinge so much when we lose a game, everyone's a winner

This season is dead, Poyet knows who's staying and who's going. Next year will be a different squad with better players. It's taken two years to get over the abomination that Mickey Adams created, but I think we're about there.

Next season we're aiming for top 7, lets hope we can get it.

A blessing in disguise as it highlights what still needs to be done by Gus, our great finish last year certainly was a false dawn. Far as I am concerned there is no point in wasting fantastic performances on this devastatingly disappointing season, save them for next year, when it will be Gus's team.

Survival is all we need this year

So... to not be fickle you need to either be happy every time we lose, or not care every time we lose.

I'd rather be fickle, thanks.
