The annual Albion Collectors’ Fair and Auction, postponed in early December, will take place this coming Sunday, 16th January.
As usual, it will feature thousands of Albion programmes at low prices, along with pictures, books, videos and other memorabilia related to the club. Jack Straw’s 2011 Amex Stadium Countdown Calendar will also be on sale.
The fair will be followed by an auction of Albion memorabilia, with an eclectic mix of lots that could see supporters netting bargains or rare items. Extra lots have been added since the postponement, including perhaps the star item: a pair of precision-manufactured, hand-painted, steel Albion badges that would set off the iron gates of any supporter’s home superbly! The fair takes place in the Hospitality Suite at Withdean Stadium, entered from the main car-park via Gate 21. Doors open at 11am and admission is free. Light refreshments will be available.
The auction follows at 1pm. A catalogue is available online at www.albionhistory.org.uk. Maximum bids may be placed in advance by those who cannot attend on the day.
