Overeatction perhaps ?
Mr Blobby said:What has happened to our home support? Why are so few people going? We beat Leyton Orient 4-1, then at the next home game the gate is 504 lower.
The club put in extra seats because of the constant SOLD OUT sign, but now we cant even fill the South and North stand.
I guess I dont understand people who dont go because they cant be bothered. I expect we have a hardcore of about 4,000 of us that will go to home league games regardless of how we are playing, and a few thousand more who will go when we are doing well, or they cant find anything better to do.
IMHO those that make the effort to go on Sunday are better supporters than those that sit at home and watch it in the box or go in a pub and watch it on Sky. Take away the people that go to matches and football would be nothing.
