He looks a real talent at Celtic. There were reports Brighton were after him around the time we got O'Riley. I wonder if it was a choice between the two? Anyone know more about why we didn't sign him?

I know Hatate has some injury issues in the past so maybe that was the reason we didn't get him? Hatate has talked about joining a better league. He's well rounded player with an eye for goal and he's young and getting more popular in Japan. Hatate at a EPL team like ours he could become the next Mitoma market wise, and potentially skill wise. I hope Brighton look at him again.
