So I am on holiday the Man City game and have offered my ticket to my brother in law......is this now falling foul of the clubs rules?

I would imagine it's aimed at Albion fans who sell/give their tickets to away fans (who will then be in the home sections) which could lead to obvious security problems. I remember a couple of Newcastle fans being turfed out of the West Upper last season after the Geordies scored leading to a bit of argy bargy.
QPR I believe.. it wasn't me.. mine didn't get checked but a mates did! May have been Wolves
I think it is to deter people from selling to touts!
There will be touts working the Amex now!
Bad loser syndrome, attempting violence, after their team has just blown a '6 pointer'.
This will be repeated next season as other clubs fans scattered about celebrate, giving rise to bad loser umbrage amongst knuckle dragggers.

It's not a "now" thing, it's always been against both the law and club rules, and every now and again the club have fired these reminder warning shots.
Although I'm not sure the club would say it, sensible "sharing" with known friends and family will be fine and, let's face it, short of insisting on ID for each fan on entry, there's little the club can do about it.
Do you know anyone who had their ID checked at any of the last few away games ? I don't (mine wasn't)
Exactly. It is unusual that that same person uses my second season ticket twice running. Am I bovvered? If I were to allow some clown I meet in the pub use it, however, and he turns out to be a recidivist, then I would deserve all the ordure and opprobrium that comes my way.
Kudos for the big words! (What do they mean?)
