Respectable placing for our team but the food round failure was a huge surprise considering....

My head hurts.

Thank you to everyone who came along and dug deep, I hope you enjoyed yourselves. There were about 120 people there - pies were scoffed, pints were downed, questions answered, arguments a-plenty (I'm looking at you Jenkins :p), and Lush won NOTHING-RIEN-NADA-NOWT on the raffle.

The final total, I'm delighted to announce, was a highly respectable £1,052

Thank you again.

Superb effort Alan. You are an REMF legend.

Despite best intentions I couldn't be there on the night personally but it sounds like another fantastically well-run event, enjoyed by all who attended, the majority of whom seem to be patrons of this fine messageboard.

As such it seems only appropriate that NSC chips in, so I'll donate £198 to the total to bring it up a round £1250.

Sterling gesture, Bozza. Thank you.

I've got to say at this point that this is one of the more satisfying aspects of being a Brighton fan - the generous, charitable nature of fellow supporters, happy to put their hands in their pockets at such straitened times. I'm delighted so many people enjoyed themselves and that that pretty impressive figure was raised.

I'm just pleased to have played a small part in that. Well done, everyone.

Belated thanks to the organisers (especially TLO) for a great quiz and top evening.

Unicorns more than happy with our 6th place showing, plenty to build on for next year. And I scored a raffle prize for the first time in about 20 years, delighted with the signed KUIPERS #1 shirt.
