24 max with 12 on one table 12 on another, the two winners of each table playin in a final, maybe a smaller prize for runners-up of each table too?
example 24 x £10 = £240 £120 to REMF £10 to each runner-up on each table. then £50 to winner £30 to runner=up in final.

The REMF will get £ 120 plus the raffle plus 50% of the Wardy t shirts and photos and
£ 1 from every book he signs on the night so I think £ 120 for the prize dosh is about right.
