I went along to the presentations tonight for the REMF Golf day and yet again it was a HUGE success.

Tony arranged on his own another superlative Golf day. There were in excess of 50 people there and Tony had managed to get 24 raffle prizes worth around £ 2500 from local businesses.

It all went off without a hitch.

Tony took over the REMF Golf day in 2007 and it went from a get together raising £ 100 profit to a highly respected and anticipated event and in every one of the last 3 years has raised in excess of £ 1000 for the REMF.

Tony will give figures soon I am sure but I reckon he has done it again.

Considering Tony had a serious operation earlier this year it is a testament to the Man that he still arranged this, this year.

LEGEND.

Excellent top work and not a bad day in the end.

I don't know how long the day went on, but I do know that Tony was up at silly o'clock this morning to make sure everything went well - which it did.

Top man, Tony! And not just on the day - whipping up all the interest for this event, over a period of months, was a job very well done. Especially considering the trip to hospital that happened in the middle of the preparations.

And it was good to see Laura Eaton pop down to the event.
