How many are doing this years marathon for REMF?
Also what will charity places for next year be expected to raise? Want to try and get in London for 2012 but if not would love a charity place for Brighton.

We have 5 runners for the REMF. I have written to them today, you included, you will get an REMF T Shirt and I have a personalised letter from Douglas Eaton thanking you for running in his Sons name and the REMF. Next year I would hope we will get 10 people who can raise £ 250 - £ 500 each, ie £ 2500 - £ 5000. I can put your name down for one.

Congratulations to Kevin Risby, Neil Kane and Mike Philpott who ran for the REMF and raised over £ 2300 for the fund all completing the course in trying conditions. Heroes all of them. The REMF will be entering a team of 10 charity runners on 15/4/12 for the Brighton Marathon and further details will follow around October. If anyone wishes to be considered for a space please let me know.

ultimately you cannot get away from the fact that anyone considering running a marathon for charity will go to a runner's site or the marathon site for information on how to do that.
