Ian Wright?

I saw him play in the SNOW in a charity game a few days after playing for ENGLAND and he RUDDY loved it and was brilliant with the fans etc.

He also came down to give out the awards at my old man's junior football club a few years back and was only to glad to.

Might be worth asking?

No thanks, he's filthy. Did you see him in the Legends vs Celebrity match on Sky One? He elbowed Alec Stewart about 10 times. You could mark him though.....

It is looking hopeful that Peter Taylor will play for the CPFC team. He has said he could make a 10 minute appearance but would confirm the date once he checked his diary.

PT is a great man. A superb manager for us. Ok did not work out at Palace as a a manager but he was a Palace Legend as a player. I remember watching him in the 70's on the wing with Malcolm Allison and his hat during their cup run. PT has been very supportive of REMF so I think it would be great news. I hope to confirm later.

I have had confirmation from Peter Taylor today that he will play for the CPFC supporters team in REMF 7 ( albeit it 15 minutes as he has a dodgy knee ). This speaks volumns for the Man who was a superb BHAFC manager and a brilliant CPFC winger during the 70's and the Cup Run and the man who gave the England armband to David Beckham. He got Gillingham promoted and Hull twice and got Leicester City FC to 9th in the Premiership as well as landing a league title for BHAFC.

A real bonus to the event and how many players can say they played on the same pitch as an England manager.

Peter Taylor was superb at REMF 1 when he gave a team talk in both players changing rooms and helped get a CPFC signed shirt last year.

Just to say good luck to all involved in REMF 7. Having played a couple of times it is a really good night and some really good people make a lot of effort for this great cause.

Good luck to all
