The 10th anniversary game between the BHAFC supporters and CPFC supporters in on Friday 29/4, 7.45 pm ko Lewes FC. Most people will have the day off for the Royal Wedding which finishes around 1 pm so what better way to start the BHAFC celebrations over the weekend than by coming along to Lewes FC for a special and unique event. Start the festivities at REMF 10 and then carry them on the next day at BHAFC last home game and last ever game at Withdean. It should be an unforgetable weekend.

Having been involved for 10 matches the game is played with a feircely competative spirit but both sides have a mutual respect and dare I say love, well maybe that is going too far but I certainly see CPFC in a different light as I am sure many others do and it just tells us eveything we knew already about BHAFC supporters that both parties have put aside previous differences to raise close to £ 90000 between them for the benefit of 1000 and counting kids across the World to play the beautiful game in the honour and memory of Robert Eaton.

Peter Ward is coming over from the USA to play for the 3rd game in a row as he has taken the charity to his heart as has Ricky Marlowe who will be travelling from Edinburgh for his 10th appearance in a row at the age of 59. Paul Rogers, ex BHAFC double league captain is playing his 3rd game.

Leon Knight has been rumoured to be in the BHAFC squad and we are keeping everything crossed that Gus Poyet wil make an appearance.

Palace have the REMF trophy somewhere in the Croydon area and I am sure they will want to keep it for the 10th game and the BHAFC supporters will be desperate to bring it back Home.

There will be a 19 prize raffle , a well stocked Bar and Gully's Girls in attendance.

Please can I ask everyone that wants to come along for the first time , are regulars or at a loose end to help support this wonderful charity which is the present holder of the Argus's , Sussex Charity of the Year. Lewes FC will provide a warm welcome and it is £ 5 entrance or £ 2 for under 16's who will get in free if accompanied by an adult.

Over the 10 years and after the terrible events of 9/11 we have achieved something truely special between us and long may it continue.

Gareth Glover
Chairman - REMF 10

Do you sell tickets in advance, being a bank holiday a lot of people may have good intentions but with family commitments, Royal Wedding hysteria and sun stroke, they may not make it. A bought ticket may either get them to the game or bank a great charity some money if they don't.

Get on the Huddersfield trophy good feel factor...

Will definitely be there. It's always in the diary every year. An absolutely top night out, good company, good fun and an extremely good cause. Looking forward to it.

I am sure it can be arranged but will get The Large One to confirm as he is Mr Lewes FC.

Getting tickets in advance is not a go-er - POTG only.

But if you'd still like to be involved, yet can't make it, why not enter the raffle?

Alan Wares is fundraising for Robert Eaton Memorial Fund

At £2.00 a strip (if two of you were going, five strips is the same donation), we'll put your ticket in the bucket for your chance to win one of 19 great prizes.

Have you been asleep for a year, Gareth? REMF was Argus Charity of the Year in 2009. The current holder of the award is the very excellent Whitehawk Inn.
