[NSC] Remembering Lord Bracknell

It seems impossible, but it was a year ago today, the 28th of July, that we lost our great friend and 'father of the Board' Lord Bracknell, Ed Bassford.

I'm not going to write or attempt to re-write a tribute to Ed - everything that needed saying was said on this thread, which now resides in Gold:

Was only thinking about Ed the other day. He should be part of everyone’s junior seagull syllabus along with other notable fans: BHAs ‘The Few’ e.g. Watts, the Swafs, Roy, Harty, Samrah, Whelch, Costa, Baine, History Man and a score of others who really did so much during our ‘war years’.
