I'd just like to experience the feeling of Relief with 3 or 4 games to go knowing we are safe, I mean I cant remember the last time I had that feeling. We've gone up and up and down and up with hardly any games at the end of the season where we had NOTHING to play for :)

its gonna be weird going out and celebrating because we are Safe, instead of Promoted or Champions or whatever :D

59 points should give us a comfortable mid-table position.

16 points. I think not losing tomorrow or away to Plymouth could be vital. The points at the end might dry up cos of the class of the opposition at home and cos the pressure hanging on the need to get points away.
I do think all those game i have put us down for a point are winnable. Results breed confidence and if we pick up wins early i think we can give anyone a good game once we reach 50 points. That is if that is the target. I think we may need more than that. Someone will drop, probably Plymouth and or Watford. If not I would aim for 54 to be sure.

but we really should be beating teams like Brighton

Forgot who else has said that?

Leicester, Forest, West Ham, Watford, Blades (twice), Wolves and QPR at Xmas .......

At least with Capt Bird's Eye you won't go hungry but you night go into administration unless he's prepared to spend the FULL £140 million he got from Abramovich. :lolol: :lolol:

You'll get nothing from Elland Road except a long journey home after a 3-0 defeat :salute:

Yes, you may turn out to be right mate, but think on, Forest, West Ham, Leicester, Sheff Utd, Gillingham all probably thought the same.

50 points - but only 8 from the next 12 matches.

Prepare for PANIC setting in.

As I have said before instead of looking which games we will get points from we should look at it my way. Make 54 points the target therefore we need 6 points per month (excluding May).

We have acheived that already for this month so anything we gain out of Forest and Leeds is a bonus for January and will eat into next months total.

Just think if we win both the next 2 games we will have got February's 6 points before January has even ended.

Albion & England forever.

I like your approach Thimble, I reckon we will get a point at Leeds, one of those games where we just grind out a draw. On top of three points from today it all adds up to a very successful January, what chance MM getting manager of the month?

Nooooo Neil Warnock got that for December which is why I had a feeling we would win last week.

We'll have to throw the game at Leeds to ensure MM doesn't get it ;)

24 for me! I just think the match agaisnt Spurs was amazing and has given tremendous confidence for the team. If we can nearly get a draw at Spurs, who cant say we can get a couple at teams like Leeds, Sunderland and Leicster...?
