After 90 mins yesterday we looked a very good outside chance for automatic but sadly that changed in the next couple of minutes so anything can happen between now and the end of season.

Worryingly this is how mine turned out:

Cardiff 90
Hull 85
Watford 78
Forest 73
Palace 72
Leicester 69
Albion 67

How depressing. 6 Points from next two games changes that though.

I had us finishing comfortably in the play-offs (and Palace and Leicester finishing outside the top 6)
Wishful thinking maybe but I can see Palace going on a downward spiral and Leicester have such a tough run-in. FWIW, I had Birmingham just snatching the last place from Bolton and CP.

Welcome to the Stattos' Club, El P.

This is my current season's end prediction:

91 Cardiff City
84 Hull City
79 Watford
77 Crystal Palace
72 Nottingham Forest
71 Brighton & Hove Albion
69 Leicester City
64 Bolton Wanderers
64 Middlesbrough
62 Millwall

Cardiff and Hull have already done enough to secure automatic promotion. Watford and Palace are securely assured of playoff places. Forest, Albion and Leicester have stuff to play for. And the rest might as well go home.

I have the positions the same as LB but a point closer to Leicester with draws from us keeping it too close for comfort.

Food for thought.

Since Jan 1st we have averaged 1.733 pts per game.

Keep that going over the final games gives us 72 pts which should be enough if 3 of those are against Leicester

It's interesting that whatever way you do it, we get Watford over 2 legs. Gus will need to work out how to deal with their pace to have a change

Palace
Blackpool (A)
Barnsley (H)
Ipswich (A)
Leicester (H)
B'burn (A)
Millwall (A)
P'Boro (H)

I can't see Palace picking up another point from them fixtures. :)

really?

1. Cardiff 89
2. Watford 82
3. Hull City 81
4. Palarse 80
5. Brighton 77
6. Forest 72
7. Leicester 71

My bottom three interestingly are -

20. Peterborough 53 (GD -11)
21. Barnsley 53 (GD -18)
22. Wolves 52
23. Huddersfield 49
24. Bristol City 46

50 points usually means your safe but that means nothing this year !! I also have it down as Wolves needing a win on the final day to stay up, but the game wouldnt be a must win for us - predicted a 2-2.

Depends really, if Leicester win then there certainly is more pressure, if Watford win then some pressure is off - also depends if we have already sealed a spot or not.

1 Cardiff 94
2 Hull 87
------------------------
3 Watford 83
4 Forest 77
5 Albion 75
6 Palace 75
------------------------
7 Leeds 66
8 Bolton 65
..
..
20 Ipswich 54
21 P'boro 53
------------------------
22 Hudds 52
23 Barnsley 48
24 Bristol City 47

With only 4 points separating 14th and 22nd, going to be tight down there.

Cardiff 96
Hull 86
Watford 83
Palace 72
BHA 71
Forest 70 (+6)
------------------
Birmingham 70 (+1)

Zola v Gus for the Wembley Final then!

1 Cardiff 93
2 Hull 87
------------------------
3 Watford 83
4 Brighton 79
5 Palace 77
6 Leicester 71
------------------------
7 Forest 71
8 Brum 69
..
..
20 Sheff Wed 53
21 P'boro 52
------------------------
22 Wolves 51
23 Barnsley 50
24 Bristol City 41

That was fun

Your predictions are always like this LB - you basically print the table as is, and add some points. That's exactly how things stand now (except Millwall, who have games in hand).

Am I the only one looking forward to Brentford and Bournemouth in The Championship next season if they make it up? Nice couple of local trips and cheaper than a £57 ticket to see the glorious BHAFC play at The Emirates.

I think this weekend proved this is almost impossible to do. Any team can beat anyone anywhere in this league. No one thought we would beat Cardiff at there place, but no one really saw us losing to Barnsley a month ago. Palace losing 2 games on the bounce, without scoring 1. It really is a great league and lets hope the last 7 games go our way, get to Wembley and just enjoy the day.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing.

With only 1 available striker that Gus is prepared to play,i have got more chance of getting to the moon than the Albion have of reaching the play offs.

Gus has pretty much only played one striker all season and that approach has us in sixth at the moment. Granted if Ulloa got injured we'd have a problem but as long as he stays fit we've got a very good chance of making the play offs.
