If god created creatures and humans together why didn't they dinosaurs eat us? And why didn't they eat Noah and everything on his ark? Why did the one animal top of the food chain die out before the rest of us? ANSWER ME THAT GOD WORSHIPERS

Mankind has inhabited the planet for about 2 million years....the last of the big fella's were wiped out 65 million years previously..the earth is 4500 million years old....we should not know all the answers,or even flatter our collective selves..

i'd love theism to explain the presence of all those manifestations we call evil. thousands of years and no joy so far.

We don't really know much beyond the last 7,000 years,i suspect Religion in it's current format is a most recent phenomenon,i would guess things previously much beyond this were more in tune to current modern thinking, less religious and more connected or not connected at all.

I personally don't understand how people cannot appreciate that everything was created and having been created we are all given free will to create and re create...

God does not judge, tell anybody what to do,send people to hell or heaven, but wants only for you what you want for you,in order for god to fully experience who and what he is through you and your greatest vision of who and what you are.

There is no right or wrong, only that that serves, given any situation the only question is,what would love do now?

I am now boring the crap out of myself,God (get it?) knows what i am doing to you lot......i had enough of this for a lifetime..

Of course God judges, that's what we have all been told.

If we seek Jesus we will be saved, if we don't it will be an eternal darkness.

Why does God speak to others but not me? I would certainly take it more seriously if he made an effort instead of leaving it to guess work and what others preach. David Koresh, Jonestown complete abuse of religion, happens all the time with people who want power, tens of wives, marrying them at pubity or younger, andhaving hundreds of children.

If there is a God, man has misused his name and twisted it for their own gain. God would be ashamed of how he has been used and manipulated.

Then the teachings are incorrect, why create perfection and then judge it..it's perfect.Fear is the root of all evil.

It maybe true or not, but most people would hope their spirit or whatever may go on in some form after their death. If you are an athiest you probably will be less happy in life.

I'm an atheist and extremely happy thanks

Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.

Go within and look not to external answers, you know the answers, you know more than you think you know, you will remember who and what you are.

Perhaps your imagination will be God's preferred method of communication, maybe a gentle breeze, the word spoken in a film,a thought provoking moment, the messages will never be stopped being sent, you will at some stage even if it is your last breath on this earth, remember, even if you spend the whole of your life previously not believing.

Sorry, this doesn't really address any of my points and it is a poor response. Are you saying that God created perfection and is satisfied with his work.

How does one choose a preacher to trust?
I was tought that God gave you free will to follow him or not. That maybe where evil happens in the world.

Buddhism could be a good starting point.

Sounds really pleasant but if I was God I wouldn't need to be worshiped or need people to believe in me. Man has evolved to know right and wrong, it's an empathy thing, but other animals have this too.

Do we need God or does God need us?

But there is a penalty if we don't.

The Yorkshire Ripper is a born again, so God will forgive him and he will be saved. I'm the one who will apparently suffer the eternal darkness.

God should judge you on your time on this earth, not on believing in God or not.

Do you really see yourself as separate from the animals, studies of animals and the animal kingdom show we are most alike,we are all made of the same stuff, the moon the universe,it's all the same, the parts have been broken down in order so that the "all that was" could experience the opposite and sum totals of it's self,in the relative plain we call Earth, with restriction, boundaries and so forth, the mind body and soul is all you are,the soul is the driving force, when it has had enough it will literally drop the body and mind and return to the the freedom of the absolute, our bodies and mind meanwhile fall asleep-we will have glimmers of what lies beyond the curtain, but dreams are not to be remembered otherwise the game is up.

Where did I say that ???

Can you translate the rest of your comment, it's just a lot of words mixed upand trying to sound poetic. "but dreams are not to be remembered otherwise the game is up." doesn't mean anything to me

I think its primarily the fear that there is nothing for us after death that drives religeon IMO. The idea that when we die, we cease to exist. Its that fear of our own mortality, the concept that when we pass away, it is The End.

Far better to sugar-coat it with the belief that our soul will endure and continue to exists in some form or another on a "higher plain", and will enjoy a glorious, wonderful afterlife if we live our lives with an intangible faith according to some religeous code. I almost envy people who have that faith, but I just cannot find it within me. I'd be kidding myself.

Nothing wrong with this at all-for me personally i cannot help but think, marvel and wonder at the sheer magnitude of scale, from microscopic cells within ants right the way up to distant galaxies colliding into other galaxies, when you question scale,it is almost as unbelievable as the very notion that something could actually create it..

We don't know how much God will forgive for your sins or whether you are genuine. We can only hope we are worthy. A good start is to believe in the message. I'm not that religous by the way, but who knows i maybe in the future

Some would consider it mental people believing that the entire universe, the divinely specific laws of physics and complex life all randomly appeared out of nothing.

Theism seems a lot more rational than atheism to me, but of course that's just my opinion.

And where did God spring from?
