I'd like to think we're too good to go down but we've only won 4 games all season which is shocking with the players we've got. We need to start picking up points sooner than later beginning with 3 against Col U on boxing day.

What does that tell you then? Maybe the manager simply can't get the best out of these players, and it's time for him to move on?

mate, as much as your entitled to your opinion, I have to say you are hopelessly wide of the mark unless you only went to the Millwall game and half the Leicester one ?

Up to a point. But we hit the post a couple of times in the second half, should have had a penalty at the death by all accounts. That's a pretty thin dividing line between points and no points. Tranmere fans did nothing but boo their own team for the last twenty minutes.

Okay, these are the reasons today ,there was a different set of reasons for defeat last week and the week before that.

We're pretty poor.

Agreed. But you look at the individual players and we're surely not THAT poor.

I agree with this. The deficiencies point to a lack of understanding and ability on Adams' part. Even the victories against the bigger clubs points to Adams not being able to motivate the players himself: i.e. the old adage about players naturally raising their game against bigger opponents.

I'm affiliated with the club & so I see every home game.

& What i see is a team & manager with ability but devoid of confidence, and yes Man City is a prime example of what we are capable of.

well you're deluded mate.

It doesnt appear that we are too good to go down at the moment, i give Adams 3 games over xmas to turn this around, if not he needs to go before it gets too late to save our season!

Well said Tom, if the pen had been given and we had scored it, then everyone would be going on about how we had turned the corner.

Or if we'd have concentrated for the wole game and kept a clean sheet, there would be more positivity here... or if we had got more than one shot on target in the entire game... if those shots that hit the post had gone in... if their player scored the own goal they threatened... if this, if that...

Doesn't matter what would have happened if the penalty was given and converted, it wasn't so it's a moot point.
