Yeah it hasn't passed me by.

Coincidence only and absolutely nothing to worry about.

But why copy the ****ing kit!!
That's just asking for trouble.

Well that's cheered me up no end! Having not experienced the 80s relegation I can't compare, but we seem to be making steady long term progress, the whole infrastructure of the club is geared towards it now, the academy is producing, so hopefully we'll break the trend.

a galaxy far far away
On history, we're doomed this season.

On form, we have no chance of being near the drop zone.

I know which I'm going by

If we manage to lose 0-5 twice and 0-4 in the first 6 games of this season like we did in the 82-83 season then you might have a point?

That paints too rosy a picture, it was the first 3 away games 0-5, 0-4, 0-5 two of which were successive games in the same week.

One away win all season

Similarities of outcomes, yeah maybe.

But, it's the input components that dictate outcomes and BHA is a VERY different beast now then what it was back then. Particularly the staff [players, manager, board, etc.]

Nothing to worry about ....

Speaking on behalf of the currently absent fat black and white fish, this sort of thinking was debunked by Sir Karl Popper in his seminal 1957 work "The Poverty of Historicism"

At least we have got the away win done and dusted, just need to bring Peter Ward out of retirement for Saturday and this thread could be on to something?
