I will back Villa Sunday as I am currently the kiss of death for any team I invest my hard earned on. Hopefully this should ensure their demise...

Good work.

After the disappointment of Boro not dropping down to L1, PLEASE can Villa be relegated.

Slight amendment. Villa can also survive by not switching on the goal line technology again. Worked for them once, so worth trying again.

Or, indeed, if their opponents score a perfectly legitimate goal (via the head, or foot, for instance) but VAR Jon Moss rules it out for handball.

I hope it does because if either of the other two clubs go down on goal difference it will be a travesty
The league have video evidence that they lost to Sheffield United
They use such evidence to ban players after the event, why can’t they deduct the point they should not have.
If ever a legal challenge by either of those clubs should take place, this is it

Must admit my preference is plucky Bournemouth and Premier League giants Villa. Watford are a basket case club that I'd be happy to see along side us for another season.

This - apart from feeling a bit conflicted as I maintain Watford, along with Wolves, are bending the rules so far that they are basically cheating. The cut price stars at Wolves due solely to one agent stinks for me and so does the slight of hand tricks Watford owners do to get players signed. Buy them with one club and give them to another club. Think I heard they were after a Scottish youngster to sign for Udinese whilst everyone knew that means he will end up at Watford. I am slightly unhappy at the USG link with us but at least we don't do these shenanigans.

Don’t waste your wedge on the last games of the season.

Following The Championship last day goal fest, I've used a free bet on BTTS in every Premier League match on Sunday, except Man City Norwich. Comes in at just under 85/1

Hoping for another stellar display from Michail Antonio FC, and a suitably lethargic one from Arsenal.

Of the three, Villa are the most likely to improve next season (chucking more money at it, obviously), whereas you can't see Watford or Bournemouth doing anything other than struggling. So I'm very much hoping- against the odds here- that Villa manage to screw this up. Also: Grealish.

Villa are going to lose Grealish either way. Throwing money at it hasn't helped them this season, and I'm not sure a Grealish-less Villa will tear up the division next year. Suspect it would be Watford who improve next season, if they stop up. For all the bonkers management stuff, they've got plenty of players who've been in the top flight for a few years now.

Honestly, I don't care who goes. It's always great telly watching these last-day relegation battles, providing you're not involved. Brilliant from the outside, absolutely awful from the inside. So, so glad to be in a position of indifference.

I'm not saying I feel sorry for him but I've never seen Eddie look as broken as he did just now on Meridian news. I felt a little uncomfortable watching him really.

Wonder how many neutrals will choose to watch Burnley v Brighton , do they do viewing figures for the separate red button matches .

Completely disagree with this.

Yes, it was very unfortunate that the goal line technology couldn't provide a definitive answer as to whether the ball was over the line - it didn't fail, but the VAR DID fail to carry out his duty properly.

But shit happens. Do you REALLY want sporting outcomes decided in a law court rather than on the pitch (even with incorrect refereeing decisions?).

Not for me.
