Let 'em enjoy it. I got on at 150/1, 'just in case', exactly as you say. If the worst happens it pays for next season's season ticket and softens the blow very, very slightly. (If there's another way of mitigating it, I'm all ears). If not, it's a fee you'd hand over without a second's thought if staying up were somehow on sale at that price, that'd typically buy you a few beers at most. I made the bet with my eyes wide open.

This is exactly the kind of superstitious, illogical and irrational stance that I take.

1000-1 tonight on bet 365..

Very generous odds when you look at Stephens, March, Gross, Propper and Trossard still failing to supply a Geriatric/Championship “strike force”...

Has to be worth another tenner.

You think Maupay is championship standard?

Early days but looks like the bookies think we will finish about the same next season - no doubt Fulham/Brentford will be below us ...

Would I take that? Yes - I suppose but would hope that we improve ... 14th would be fab!View attachment 126739

Laughable given the fact that Leeds currently have a Championship team full of loanees :lolol:

The odds will price in the assumption that they’re going to spend a few quid in the transfer window. If they don’t, then those odds will shorten significantly.

Suspect the odds more likely reflect the deluded masses lumping on in their blind faith that the mighty Leeds, Champions of Europe, are BACK and will storm the PL.
