Last seasons PL drop-outs; Blackburn, Bolton & Wolves, all in the bottom half of the Championship.

With their parachute payments and Premier League quality, why do you think they aren't storming this league or looking like promotion candidates at the moment?

Is the Championship a more ruthless and difficult division than the Premier League?

Downward momentum is a bitch to reverse. The parachute payment advantage doesnt really guarantee anything and plenty of clubs fail to go back up.

Closest league in the world

If players were more consistent they'd ply their trade in the Prem, not as good and they'd be lower down the pyramid.

Nope, it isn't. In the Championship any team can beat any team (That's why I like it). There are three levels in the Premier League. I can't imagine anything more difficult than the Prem.

I think it's the nature of this league, teams have so much to gain, but at the same time. They have a lot to lose. I.E. relegation to the third tier. It's a ruthless league, which IMO is more competitive than the premier league due to what I said in the first sentence.

It just shows to competitive nature of this league.
