All rubbish get them fired into the sun
Or how about having some extra refs watching on TV, in slow motion from many camera angles. Then they'd be able to always give the right decision.I think there is too much for the referees to do, they should consider having one ref per side or half (of pitch) then they can keep their eyes on a smaller area or smaller set of things.
From a human body perspective- running from one end of the pitch to the other - trying to breathe, trying to use your brain at the same time for 90+ minutes - it isn’t what we humans are designed for.
Football today isn’t what it was 50 years ago, the elite players are highly tuned machines and unfortunately the refereeing needs to adapt to keep up which probably means much more money for PGMOL and for the referees themselves.
Or get the linos on the pitch and have the ref hover around the half way line directing them
