It's changed to Pawson on the official PL website, no MO on any matches, so maybe illness/injury.

We got rid of a few bad refs last year but Coote and Madley have slipped into that role seamlessly. A lot of the newer refs seem OK and even Hoops seems to be less controversial these days. I would rather have had Pawson as Oliver seems to be going down the Shyster route of arrogance. I think Taylor has taken over from him as the top ref although I am sure there will be the suggestion of a big team bias.

Still, it beats the days of Keith Stroud, Keith Hill and God knows who else we got lower down.

The day the Amex experienced it’s first very hostile atmosphere imo. Great Escape chants for 80 mins and CMS missing an absolute sitter to level it for 9 man Albion.

There was another one where the most blatant handball you will ever see was completely ignored, resulting in Barnes racing down the other end, being brought down and then scoring the penalty awarded to Burnley.
I walked out saying I am not paying to watch incompetent refs.
Highlights even showed the Burnley player demonstrating his handball to his team mates whilst walking off the pitch, laughing about it.
I still get angry when I think about it.
