What frightening injury record? They are not making a substitute from Birmingham, with one year left on his contract and an frightening injury record, one of their most expensive signings of all time.
He wasn’t a free transfer, we paid a fee
Bit harsh on Koslowski! The club probably thought it was a good move for him again as he did well there and they play good football. Personally think it makes a lot of sense, he’s still just 19…..Another nearly man. Doubt we'll make anything on him. Pity. Sell on clause? - yes,, there probably is, but will it yield much? Good luck to him anyway - could have had a decent career in The Championship, but if he prefers Reims and Ligue 1, OK. Probably not a bad life.
Not as disappointing as Koslowski opting for the soft option at Vitesse again instead of braving it in England and the Championship.
Looked a bit fat as well.
I was always against the player, I just didn't take a shine to him.
We should've signed his brother Abraca.
Khadra has played in the Premier League: he came on as a substitute against Man CityThink we're more likely to just about break even, if that. Don't imagine Reims often fork out fees that big for players who've only played as high as second tier in England.
You can also improve as a player outside of old Blighty too you know? You don't have to het Allardyced in the Championship to make it at Brighton as countless of our players have shown over the last few yearsNot as disappointing as Koslowski opting for the soft option at Vitesse again instead of braving it in England and the Championship.
This, especially odd to criticise Vitesse who have a pretty sublime record with loanees. As per the below selection from the past decade:You can also improve as a player outside of old Blighty too you know? You don't have to het Allardyced in the Championship to make it at Brighton as countless of our players have shown over the last few years
A few million? Have Reims got a few million to spend?Pretty sure he'd been released or rather not offered a contract when his scholarship ran out in Germany. Any money we paid might have been compensation for his training costs but that wouldn't be much compared to selling him for a few million.
But you do have to challenge young players to come out of their comforrt zone sometimes. You can also improve as a player outside of old Blighty too you know? You don't have to het Allardyced in the Championship to make it at Brighton as countless of our players have shown over the last few years
Someone posted before me saying £5m fee. I’m thinking more 1 or 2 but have no idea of the finances of a French team.A few million? Have Reims got a few million to spend?
Perhaps there is a player coming the other way?A few million? Have Reims got a few million to spend?
Good callPerhaps there is a player coming the other way?
A specialist defensive midfielder we’ve been linked to before…….
[Albion] - Marshall Munetsi
Yes it's the Daily Fail but a broken clock etc, etc. It appears we could have been talking to Reims for other reasons: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10942295/Brighton-eye-Reims-midfielder-Marshall-Munetsi-Yves-Bissouma-replacement-summer.html seems a bit older than...www.northstandchat.com
