When I watched the highlights this morning, my first thought was to wonder if Jahanbakhsh had gone down like a sack of **** whether it would then have been a red card.

They made a big thing about the fact that the big screens were going to show what the ref sees but it didnt happen just a message showing the red card was being reviewed. They same has just happened with the 2nd Wolves goal and the VAR check.

...and if he had tried to cut the cross out he probably would have put it past Ryan anyway. Sometimes you just have to accept that it was a great ball in.

They’re wrong though. It wasn’t offside. I presume that in reality they checked both.

It was a great goal, played onside by defenders left toe, but definitely on side. Fantastic chest down and volley.

The VAR decision was absolutely correct. The rule itself might be ridiculous, but it was a correct application of the rule.

Just seen Fernandinho's elbow on Kane - its a red as well
