One crashed in front of my very eyes 17th May 1980 on Brighton seafront just east of the Palace Pier.
i guess this might mean there not going to be at Shoreham as i thought they were attending.
that was at Bournemouth wasnt it
Remember it ,was only young and in the Royal Alex Children's Hospital after a crash of my own of my go kart-1981 i think
So was the plane a write-off? Was it even recovered?
I was sat on the beach, by the Bedford Street stairs when it happened....saw the pilot's parachute and the plane crash. As you said it seemed to go right over the Palace Pier....so lucky.
