Albion fans have renewed season tickets in record numbers for the 2024/25 season.

More than 95% of season-ticket holders renewed ahead of the deadline, with fans enjoying Roberto De Zerbi’s team’s push for another season in European competition.

...is it Groundhog Day?

Albion fans have renewed season tickets in record numbers for the 2023/24 season, and the club is expecting to smash the all-time total number as potential new season-ticket holders get the chance to buy.

Last season the club sold a record number of season tickets and more than 95% renewed ahead of the deadline last Friday, the highest percentage of renewals since promotion to the Premier League.

Can't say I'm surprised. We're still into unknown territory with the potential to get even better.

But I think the main reason is a fantastic decision from the club from first moving in to allow payment by DD over a year, and then another one by PBOBE to refund and adjust during Covid. It makes it far more affordable and allows people to be opted in, rather than opted out.

If I'd had to lump sum renew in March I wouldn't have gone to Rome (or else I would have and then not renewed).

I know you can stick the equivalent each month into a savings account instead but then you'd still have to remember to renew and have the discipline not to touch the savings.

It's a lagging indicator tho I reckon, today's unhappiness (such that it is) would only show up in a year's time

There are only FIVE certainties in life:

- Death
- Taxes
- Record sales of a new Albion shirt each season
- Record Albion season ticket renewals each season
- said Albion shirt being unavailable to buy, for three quarters of its 'lifespan'.

Nonsense, you just need to either have a gastric band fitted, so you can slip into a size S, or supersize yourself to recreate the iconic Fatboy Slim album cover so the XXXL is a viable option.

The club clearly believe that it’s up to us to change our bodies, rather than the club to order more L/XL. And who are we to argue?

That's why they are so vociferous here on a matchday. Not at the game but can't resist a dig if we perform below expectation.

The club simply now need to get shot of RDZ, Steele, Verbruggen, Fati and Moder, whilst bringing back Sanchez, to turn us into contenders for 5th place next season.

I guess 95% of that 95% simply just let it renew rather than took any action.....................
If you don't need to take any action why would you take any action?

Just checking that it still the case?

DD for years and haven't actually done anything manually to renew, it still just auto renews?

Got an email in Dec about renewals window by mid Feb and "renew ST" on official site is just to pay in lump sum.

I'm assuming by doing nothing at all I'm in that 95%?

The immortal jellyfish, Turritopsis dohrnii is as the name suggests, immortal. There are several countries in the world that are tax free including Somalia, Western Sahara and the Cayman Islands where the immortal jellyfish lives, paying no tax forever.
