Ok, so we've had the threads about free anti-virus, the ones for spyware, firewall, word-processing, operating systems, compression utilities etc. etc. etc. :bla::bla::bla:

So can anyone recommend me a decent free PDF editor for Windows?

Come on NSC don't let me down, you're usually good at this sort of thing :)

You can't fully edit a PDF in anything except Acrobat. Which costs Rather A Lot.

You can do minor edits using some tools like PDFEdit but they do not work well, at all.

Mac Preview (which is free) can bypass PDF security and allow full editing :thumbsup:

No, no it can't. It allows *very partial* editing, mostly annotation which can be done by most PDF readers - Foxit for Windows for instance.

And he's using Windows, anyway.

I know nothing about PDF formats, I'll get back to my hangover now !!!

Wouldn't it be easier to use a printer, pair of scissors, sellotape and a scanner to do the same thing

It looks that way, yes :)

So does anyone know where theres a Staples store in Bristol :lolol:

look at cutepdf and pdf995 (or something similar) which are used to create PDFs.
