Recommend me a camera?

Well I put a bid in on ebay for a Canon powershot G9 and have just woke up to find I won it for £71. an older model but gets great reviews, hopefully as good or better than my old Olympus.

If you can find any of the Canon G series second hand, they're bloody good cameras.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ range are excellent compacts with decent zoom. Depending on which you go for I'm sure one would fit your price range. I did have a TZ10 which was brilliant but have recently upgraded at to a TZ40 which is even better but was about £200 I'm sure you could get a TZ10 or maybe TZ20 for £100 though.

I bought one from new, which I still use, and it really is a lovely camera.

Fujifilm X10 works for me. Loads of preset modes or use it like a DSLR. Old skool styling (has a viewfinder as well as lcd screen) and fantastic build quality and pics .
